WHAT: We are excited to run another full-day perioperative emergencies simulation workshop. The best emergency is the one that doesn’t occur, but why not prepare for the worst and study with the best! Our workshops are fun and low-key, intended to reinforce best practice in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. While the course has a focus on specific perioperative emergencies, it will touch on all aspects of anesthesia practice, including airway management, resuscitation, ACLS, and more.
We are able to offer two spots to Anesthesia Assistants, at a reduced rate, to join us for the day, so your group may wish to consider sponsoring an AA to attend. If you are interested in enrolling one of your AAs, please enroll on the BCAS website.
It provides 8 hours of Royal College Section 3 credits worth 24 points and, for our FPA participants, 8 hours of CFPC Mainpro+ credits.
