“Not only helping patients, but our planet too, by promoting and advancing to more environmentally sustainable anesthetic practices.”
BCAS’ Environmental Special Interest Group (SIG) is dedicated to promoting and advancing environmentally sustainable anesthetic practices across British Columbia. Our SIG provides a collaborative forum for anesthesiologists to share knowledge, resources, and strategies to reduce the environmental impact of anesthesia. Through outreach and peer-to-peer support, we help enhance understanding of the benefits of implementing greener practices. Open to all BCAS members, the group fosters engagement through an on-demand support network and regular meetings, working towards a more sustainable future in anesthesia.
