Congratulations to Dr. Howard Meng on receiving the BCAS Dr. Pieter Swart Perioperative Research Award for the project, “Erector Spinae Plane versus Serratus Anterior Plane Catheter Infusions for Acute Pain Management in Patients with Traumatic Rib Fractures: A Single-Centre Randomized Controlled Trial.” We are excited to see the meaningful impact this research will have on improving acute pain management and regional anesthesia care for trauma patients, and we wish Dr. Meng and the research team continued success.
