The scenarios will be an assortment of peri-operative disasters that we will tackle together, covering the gamut of anesthesia practice. As a reminder, Perioperative Emergencies: A simulation-based approach to resuscitation is an eight hour workshop which qualifies participants for 24 credits (Royal College MOC Section 3).
For our FPA participants, 8 hours can be used for Mainpro+ credits under the Royal College MOC accredited Section 3 Certified Assessment activity (to a maximum of 50 per CME cycle.)
We are also thrilled to extend an invite to 2 AAs. The inclusion of AAs to the workshop has been a tremendous addition to our day! Consider sponsoring one of your AAs to attend. Look for more details and registration for anesthesiologists as well as AAs soon to come in a future BCAS email. Please let me know if you have any questions.
